When I tell people that I learned to speak a new language in just a month, they usually have a hard time believing me - which I can understand, I didn't believe it at first until I actually tried it. As an American, I've always struggled with foreign languages but with Pimsleur it was easy!
Whenever I travel abroad I try to learn some basic words and phrases in that country's language. Without a language barrier, I could enjoy traveling around in a whole new way.
